Visco Elastic material was originally developed by NASA Space Research Centre to relieve launch pressure experienced by astronauts. It is exquisitely pressure sensitive, and thus a popular choice for pressure-relief, comfort and support. Your SomnaVisco mattress contains 3 layers of SomnaVisco material that has been blended to achieve the correct pressure relief, with a matching feel for your preference - in the Between the layers is a herrinbone material layer that helps with air circulation and diffusion of pressure This creates the ultimate sleep comfort experience and helps relieve pressure and pain like no other mattress material can.
